The petitioners seek bail in connection with Chandauti P.S. Case No. 10 of 2021 dated 07.01.2021 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition Act. Forty litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from the bank of a river. The petitioner and other were apprehended while running away from the place of raid. However, the petitioners are said to be in custody since 08.01.20221.

The petitioners earlier have been made accused in two other criminal cases but not of similar nature and in both of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57873 of 2021(2) dt.23-05-2022 2/2 them they have been granted bail.

Regard being had to the nature of offence and the period of custody of the petitioners they are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Gaya in connection with Chandauti P.S. Case No. 10 of 2021.
