The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief(s):- "That this is an application is being filed for issuance of appropriate order/orders, direction/directions, writ/writs in the nature of mandamus commanding the directing to the respondents concerned to release (DCM Truck) vehicle of the petitioner, which has been seized in connection with Baisi P.S. No. 89 of 2022 instituted for the offence under Section 7 Essential Commodity Act 1955 and for any other relieves for which the petitioner is found to be entitle in the facts and circumstances of the case."

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that

Patna High Court CWJC No.11064 of 2023(2) dt.10-10-2023 2/2 petitioner has already made an application for release of the seized vehicle before the District Magistrate (Respondent No. 2) herein. However, the orders have yet to be passed on the same.

4. Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, having regard to the fact that the petitioner has already filed an application for release of the seized vehicle, the respondent No. 2 is directed to pass necessary orders on the said application within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
