2. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with NDPS Case No. 06 of 2022 (Arising out of NCB Case No. 05 of 2022), registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b) (ii) (c), 25, 29 of the NDPS Act.

3. As per allegation, 547 kilograms of ganja was recovered from the truck. The petitioner is alleged to be the driver of the said truck and another person namely Jawahar Sah was sitting in the truck.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.51417 of 2025(6) dt.08-01-2026 2/2 that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing was recovered from his conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner has been in custody since 31.01.2022.

5. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the NCB has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that all the prosecution witnesses have been examined.

6. The trial is on the verge of its conclusion and hence I do not think it proper to release the petitioner on bail.

7. Accordingly, this petition is rejected.
