Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 498(A) of the IPC and section 3⁄4 of D.P. Act.

The prosecution case, in brief, is that due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry, petitioner started torturing and assaulting the complainant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, while refuting the allegation, submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. It has further been submitted that the allegation of demand of dowry is not against the petitioner. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
