Petitioner being the father of the husband of the victim is languishing in custody since 25.08.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 328, 304B, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
It is alleged that the informant's daughter was killed by administering poison after about three years of marriage for non-fulfillment of dowry demand. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the accusation has been levelled against the petitioner merely on suspicion. Informant has admitted that this petitioner informed about the serious illness of the victim. The viscera has been preserved and the husband of the victim is in custody.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3241 of 2015 (2) dt.23-01-2015 Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra in connection with Revilganj P.S. Case No. 51 of 2013.
