In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Begusarai Muffasil P.S. Case No. 109 of 2015 registered for offence under section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that it is not supposed to be father of the victim will be coming at 9.00 P.M. itself creates a serious doubt about the statement of the father of the victim, but after institution of first information report, the father of the victim was re-examined by the Police and he reiterated to his earlier statement, which is corroborated from the Post Mortem report.

In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7711 of 2016 (4) dt.20-04-2016 2/2 to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed. The court below is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
