The application seeks the following relief(s) as culled out in para 1 (a):- "To issue a writ or writs, direction or directions order or orders in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to pay compensation for the death of the petitioner's husband who died in jail custody at Motihari due to gross negligence and carelessness of the jail Authority/respondents."
A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondents.
After making submissions at some length, the counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of the court to
