JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 02-01-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). That this writ application is being preferred for issuance of appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions preferably in the nature of Mandamus commanding upon the Respondent authorities to provide first yearly salary increment from 1.7.2013 instead of 1.7.2014 provided to the petitioners in the light of office memorandum dated 13.3.
2009 issued by the Director Implementation Cell, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Government of India as similarly situated employees appointed under judgeships of Sitamarhi and Bhagalpur have been paid the first increment on 1.7.2013. (ii). For direction to the respondent authorities to revise the pay scale of petitioners after granting Rs.600 as first increment to pay scale since 1.7.2023 and also direct the Respondents to make payment of arrears of salary arising due to grant of increment on 1.7.2013. Further for grant of any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioners are found entitle in the facts and circumstances of the case."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the learned
Patna High Court CWJC No.11303 of 2023(2) dt.02-01-2024 3/3 District Judge, Munger, for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case the petitioners approach the learned District Judge, Munger, by filing appropriate representation, within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be disposed off, by a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
