JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 17-10-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned APP for the State.

Petitioners are seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No.152 of 2017 registered for offences punishable under Sections 147, 149, 323, 307, 427, 379 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there are general allegations against the petitioners of assault, but this Court having gone through the records finds that there is active participation of these petitioners in the commission of offence. In the first part of the First Information Report, there are allegations that these petitioners were one of the accused who had surrounded the vehicle and took out the informant from his vehicle

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.50560 of 2017 (2) dt.17-10-2017 and assaulted him.

In this view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. The application is dismissed.
