JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 23-01-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends arrest in Kanti P.S. Case No. 289 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Sections-147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 354, 307, 379, 504 of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged in the written report that the petitioner along with Md. Azad assaulted the informant with sword and axe, respectively, and when his father, mother and brother came for rescue, petitioner also assaulted his father. Case diary has been received wherein, injury report of the informant is enclosed and doctor has found two lacerated wound on middle of scalp. CT Scan of Brain shows fracture of frontal bone, which is grievous in nature, caused by hard and blunt substance.

In such circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and his such prayer stands rejected in
