ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 18-10-2023 Even though the learned counsel for petitioners has argued the matter at length on the merits of the case, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present writ petition on the ground that the petitioners have not filed his objections to the show cause notice issued under Section 7 of the Bihar Orissa

Patna High Court CWJC No.10853 of 2023(3) dt.18-10-2023 2/2 Public Demands Recovery Act, 1914. Learned counsel has stated that the petitioners have not been served any notice under Section 7 of the said Act therefore, he could not file his objections under Section 9 of the said Act.

2. Having regard to the above made submissions, the Respondent No. 9 is directed to serve the copy of the show cause notice on the petitioners within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such receipt of the show cause notice, the petitioners shall file his objections under Section 9 of the said Act within a period of two weeks thereof. The Respondent No. 9 shall pass necessary orders duly taking into consideration the objections filed by the petitioners and giving him an opportunity of hearing. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order. Any order passed shall be communicated to the parties.

3. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
