The petitioner has been arrested in connection with Agiaon(G) P.S. Case No. 153 of 2013 registered under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

There is direct allegation against the petitioner is that he assaulted by lathi on the head of the husband of the informant by which he succumbed to injury.

Learned counsel for the State submits that in paragraph 8 and 9 of the case diary, witnesses have supported the prosecution case.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected.
