The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the respondents to declare the result of the petitioner, who appeared in the annual examination of Matric, 2017.

If there is no dispute as to the genuineness of the candidature of the petitioner, then the Board is under obligation to publish the result of the petitioner, as withholding of result of genuine candidate is not permissible.

Considering the issue raised in the present writ application, the writ application is disposed of with a direction

Patna High Court CWJC No.14666 of 2019(2) dt.22-07-2019 2/2 to the Bihar School Examination Board, Patna to examine the claim of the petitioner and on verification if it is found that the petitioner's candidature is legal and valid, the Board shall publish the result of the petitioner at the earliest within a maximum period of 15 days from today and forward the details of the result to the concerned school within the same time.
