2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
3. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 238 of 2019 dated 17.06.2019, lodged under Sections 302, 304(B), 120(B) and 34 of the I.P.C.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 11.10.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 6529 of 2022 in which liberty was granted to him to renew his prayer for bail six months after framing of charge.
5. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52244 of 2023(3) dt.22-09-2023 2/2 that a report has been called for. From the report, it transpires that the Trial Court has demanded two months time to expedite the trial.
6. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
7. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, as examination of five witnesses took place and examination of only two witnesses are left.
8. With this observation, the bail application stands rejected.
