In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Majarganj P.S. Case No. 256 of 2015 registered for offences under sections 363, 364 of the Indian Penal Code.

In this case a boy, namely, Jittu was kidnapped and killed. A group of criminals are involved in kidnapping of that boy and lastly he was killed and thrown in the field. Later on, his dead body was recovered. The ransom amount was demanded from a mobile number which was earlier belonging to Priyanka Kumari, was snatched by Md. Sattar and the demand of ransom was made from that mobile.

In para 16, call details shows that a demand of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8262 of 2016 (3) dt.22-04-2016 2/2 2/2 Rs.50,000,00/- (fifty lacs) was made from the father of the victim. The name of Md. Sattar has come during investigation being an associate of Babloo group and under their conspiracy, the boy was kidnapped and ultimately was killed.

In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is rejected. The court below is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of one year. (Shivaji Pandey, J) Mahesh/- U T
