The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1551 (C) of 2014 registered under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the D.P. Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the joint prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the complainant-opposite party no. 2, the matter was referred to the Mediation Centre, Patna High Court, Patna, for settlement of dispute in between the petitioner and the complainant-opposite party no. 2, where both parties appeared while petitioner expressed his desire to keep his wife-opposite party no. 2 but the complainant-opposite party no. 2 refused to live

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17517 of 2017 (5) dt.30-10-2017 with the petitioner and showed her desire to one time settlement. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar, in connection with Complaint Case No. 1551 (C) of 2014, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
