2. This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Karakat P.S. Case No. 149 of 2021 registered under Section 30(a), 33, 36, 38 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018 and Sections 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery one country made pistol and live cartridge along with illicit liquor and spirit has been recovered from the petitioner. He is in custody since 25.04.2023.

4. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

5. Considering the period of custody, this application

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.51670 of 2023(2) dt.19-08-2023 2/2 for regular bail is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner above named be released on bail on completing 15 months in custody and on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive special Judge, Excise Court No. 1, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Karakat P.S. Case No. 149 of 2021.

The petitioner will visit Karakat on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station could be result in cancellation of the bail bond of the petitioner., (Sandeep Kumar, J) Sunnykr/- U T
