The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Marhowrah P.S. Case No. 204 of 2013 registered under Sections 341, 323, 354, 326, 307 and 34 of the I.P.C.

The accusation is that due to land dispute, scuffle took place in between the informant Baharan Rout and petitioner Bigan Rout then Anita Devi, wife of the informant rushed to save her husband, thereafter, petitioner Bigan Rout called his wife, Rekha Devi and Radhika Devi to come with acid. Thereafter, Rekha Devi and Radhika Devi threw acid on the body of informant's wife, who sustained grievous injury. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that in fact, due to land dispute occurrence took place in between Anita Devi, wife of the informant Baharan Rout

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20537 of 2015 (4) dt.16-09-2015 2/2 and Radhika Devi, but due to ulterior motive, petitioner has been made accused in this case. It is further submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 13.08.2014. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the C.J.M., Saran at Chapra in connection with Marhorah P.S. Case No. 204 of 2013.
