The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Nawada Town P.S. Case No. 746 of 2021 dated 16.07.2021 instituted for the offence under Sections 30(a)/41 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

The petitioner is said to be the owner of a make-shift shop from where there has been a recovery of 28 litres of mahua liquor.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that because of his alleged involvement in other cases about which reference has been made in paragraph-3 of the petition, he has been falsely implicated in this case also. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not have any

However, looking at the custody of the petitioner which is from 17.07.2021 and the nature of the offence, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge II-cum-Special Judge, Nawada in connection with Nawada Town P.S.
