The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 413, 414 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. Name of the petitioner has surfaced during course of investigation in the confessional statement of co-accused Srikant Sharma. No incriminating article has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

However, learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the bail petition and submitted that petitioner has got criminal antecedent and he is accused in as many as eight cases, out of which, some of them are of similar nature.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57704 of 2021(2) dt.04-07-2022 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as criminal antecedent of petitioner, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and same is, accordingly, rejected.
