The petitioners seek bail in Ujiyarpur P.S. Case No. 99 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, daughter of the informant was married with co-accused Chandan Jha four years ago. Informant's daughter always used to talk on phone with their parents that petitioners along with other co-accused used to demand dowry and also threatened her of dire consequence upon non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. Ultimately, on 18.04.2020 in the night, informant got information that his daughter has been killed by the petitioners and co-accused

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that petitioner no. 1 is father-in-law and petitioner no. 2 is mother-inlaw of the deceased and they are living separately since 2017 and have no concern with the family affairs of the deceased and her husband. There is general and omnibus allegation. Petitioners are in custody since 20.04.2020 having no criminal antecedent. Chargesheet has already been submitted. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased and they are living separately since 2017, the petitioners above-named, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.

10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Dalsingsarai, Samastipur in connection with Ujiyarpur P.S. Case No.
