2 Claiming his appointment as Tax Collector way back in the year 1979, petitioner has filed this writ petition for a direction upon the respondents to appoint him on a regular post of Tax Collector or any other equivalent post under services of the respondent-State.

3 Specific stand of respondent No 5, Deputy Collector, Revenue Division, Koshi Project, Araria is that subsequent upon the letter dated 25.03.1979, the petitioner has never joined his post.

Patna High Court CWJC No.15052 of 2013 dt.06-10-2018 2/2 It is specifically stated that he is not working in any Division of the Project and there is no proof of working in the past. His averments made in the counter affidavit has not been denied or disputed by filing any rejoinder.

4 In view of the aforesaid situation, this Court does not find any reason to exercise jurisdiction in favour of the petitioner. This writ petition is dismissed.
