JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 17-09-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to make payment of due amount with regard to the supply of job cards and registers for which work order was issued and the respondents authorities placed orders vide letter no. 373 dated 08.03.2011 and letter no. 2062 dated 24.11.2011 for supply of job cards and registers; and for connected reliefs.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the petitioner having completed the work of supply of job cards and registers, pursuant to the orders placed by the authorities, full payment

3. A supplementary affidavit has been filed, according to which a total amount of Rs. 8,77,869/- has been received by the petitioner but the amount of Rs. 1,13,914/- remains outstanding for payment.

Having regard to the nature of the grievances of the petitioner and with consent of the parties, this writ petition is disposed of, granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), Supaul, at & P.O. - Supaul, DistrictSupaul, Bihar (Respondent No. 2) with a fresh representation for redressal of his grievances. If any such representation is filed within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered and disposed of, ensuring payment to the extent found due to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receiving the petitioner's representation.

Any delay in payment of the admitted amount beyond the stipulated period as stated above, shall entitle the petitioner to receive payment together with simple interest at the rate of 6% per annum on the admitted dues calculated from the date when the amount became due till the date of its actual payment. In case the petitioner's claim is found inadmissible, whether in whole or in part, the petitioner's representation shall be disposed of by a speaking order in that regard.
