2. Mr. Shashi Bhushan Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner with reference to notification dated 31.07.2018 of the L.N. Mithila University, submitted that after the decision of Justice (Rtd) S. N. Jha Committee, the Syndicate in its meeting dated 19.06.2018 corrective measures was adopted by the University. He submits that in view of the above, the present writ application merits disposal with a direction to the University to take appropriate decision on the line of

Patna High Court CWJC No.24237 of 2013 dt.26-09-2018 2/2 the decision, the University has taken with regard to similarly circumstanced other teachers, who were granted promotion on the basis of initial date of appointment and not from the date of regularization under the regularization statute.

3. In view of the above, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the University to take corrective measures and in case similarly circumstanced other teachers have been granted the benefit of initial appointment, similar benefit should be extended to this petitioner also within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
