Petitioner is named in the first information report but according to the prosecution case itself, the alleged occurrence took place on 25.02.2015 and the informant with the help of covillagers caught the petitioner on 26.02.2015, when the petitioner was sleeping in his village. The informant claims that looted Rs. 2500/- was recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner.
