====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 07-01-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the opposite party No. 2.
2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Saran Mahila P.S. Case No. 85 of 2023 for the offences punishable under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the dispute between the parties has been settled through process of mediation. The terms of settlement mutually agreed upon by the parties and the same is kept at 'Flag-M'.
4. Learned counsel for the opposite party No. 2 does

5. Having considered the fact that the dispute between the parties has already been resolved through mediation, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of eight weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra in connection with Saran Mahila P.S. Case No. 85 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C. with further condition that petitioner shall abide by all the terms & conditions, mentioned in Memorandum of Agreement dated 13.12.2024 before the Mediation Centre, failing which, learned Court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail-bond of the petitioner.
