JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 06-02-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Teghra P.S. Case No. 238 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 447, 337, 341, 323, 307, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
There is allegation against this petitioner in the written report that he caused firearm injury to the brother of the informant in the right thigh.
Case diary has been received.
The injury report of brother of the informant namely Bibhash Kumar Singh is available in paragraph-44 of the case diary wherein the Doctor has found entry wound 2" x 2" x bone
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.59537 of 2017 (3) dt.06-02-2018 2/2 deep caused by firearm injury which is grievous in nature. It is mentioned in paragraph-3 of the bail petition that petitioner has criminal antecedent.
Learned counsel for the informant has appeared and opposed prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
