2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Dumra P.S. Case No. 153 of 2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 379, 504, 506, 34 of IPC.

3. The allegation in the F.I.R. is that the informant was assaulted with a knife on his head, due to which he became unconscious. It is further alleged that co-accused Rajesh Mahto took away an amount of 3,000/- from his pocket. ₹

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that there is a dispute between the informant

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47967 of 2026(2) dt.27-07-2026 2/2 and the petitioner with regard to the sale and purchase of land. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner is aged about 65 years and has clean antecedents. It is also submitted that the injury sustained is simple in nature. On the aforesaid grounds, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that the privilege of anticipatory bail be granted to the petitioner.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Having considered the rival submissions of the parties, the old age of the petitioner, his clean antecedents, and the nature of the injury sustained, let the petitioner named above be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each of the satisfaction of learned CJM, Sitamarhi/concerned court, in connection with Dumra P.S. Case No. 153 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS. (Ranjan Kumar Jha, J) rishabh/- U T
