JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 11-03-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation against the petitioner is that he made attempt to commit rape on the informant for which petitioner is in jail custody since 17.09.2015.

Contention on behalf of the petitioner is that the present case has been lodged on account of previous enmity and village politics. It is further submitted that the investigation has already been completed and further detention of the petitioner is not warranted.
