JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-09-2018 The petitioner had applied for correction of his mother's name in his Grade Sheet cum Certificate of performance issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education in respect of Class-X examination. His application has been rejected by the C.B.S.E. on the ground of it being time barred. The petitioner had passed the said examination in 2015 and had applied for necessary correction in 2016, i.e. more than a year. This is not in dispute that the time limit for seeking correction has been extended to five years by the C.B.S.E. In that view of the matter, this application is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to approach C.B.S.E. again seeking correction in the certificate in respect of his mother's name. If it is done within one month from today, the Court expects that the C.B.S.E. shall take a final decision within two
