Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner and some others caught the informant and made an attempt to outrage her modesty. It is alleged that Ramjiwan Sahni assaulted the informant with knife on head and Munni Lal Sahani gave knife blow on the neck. The doctor found the injuries simple in nature. The petitioner is not the assailant of the informant. Petitioner is in jail since 10.01.2015. It is submitted that Ramjiwan Sahni lodged Darpa P.S. Case No. 35 of 1996 under sections 307 of the I.P..C. and 27 Arms Act against Sharma Nand Sahni that is why the present case has been filed

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13886 of 2015 (2) dt.23-04-2015 2/2 against the petitioner.

Considering the fact that petitioner has already remained in jail for more than three months, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran.
