ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 24-06-2016 The Petitioner seeks revision of the judgment of conviction dated 31.8.2010 passed by the Additional District & Sessions Judge, F.T.C. III, Gaya in Criminal Appeal No.165 of 2009, by which he has upheld the conviction of the Petitioner and maintained the sentence under Arms Act, passed by judgment dated 27.1.2001 passed by the Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Gaya in G.R. No.1500 of 1997 corresponding to Mufassil P.S. case No.74 of 1997. On going through the impugned judgment, I do not find any merit in the revision. However, considering the period of custody of the Petitioner as also the date of occurrence, the sentence is modified to the period already undergone by him. With the aforesaid modification in sentence, the revision application stands dismissed.
