Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 406, 420 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.
Petitioner was Manager of a Co-operative Society. Allegation is that the Chairman and all the Office bearers of the Society illegally granted loan to different persons and they have defalcated a huge amount.
It is submitted that similarly situated co-accused Ram Bilash Bishwakarma, Gopal Ram, Rabindra Mandal, Rajendra Prasad Mehta and Singeshwar Prasad Suman have already been granted anticipatory bail. Petitioner is in jail since 13.03.2015.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22598 of 2015 (3) dt.15-09-2015 Considering the nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that similarly situated other co-accused persons have already been granted anticipatory bail, petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in connection with Katihar Town P.S. Case No. 16 of 2008.
