JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 30-03-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. It appears from perusal of the first information report that a quarrel took place amongst the villagers on account of blockage of road of primary school and police party reached there to remove the blockage but petitioners became furious and started assaulting the police party and other villagers, as a result of which several persons sustained injuries.

The contention on behalf of the petitioners is that except one Chandravansh Singh, almost all the injured of this case sustained simple injuries and, as a matter of fact, the petitioners

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12837 of 2016 (2) dt.30-03-2016 2/2 were badly assaulted by their opponents and the police took favour of the opponents of the petitioners, resulting institution of the present case as well as two other cases against the petitioners for the occurrence said to be taken place on the same day. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioners , above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bikramganj, Rohtas in connection with Karakat P.S.Case No. 07 of 2016.
