Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 120(B),409,420,467,468 & 471 of IPC and 13(2), read with 13(1)(C)(D) of P.C.Act. Petitioner is one of the accused in notorious matter known as Srijan Scandal. Several FIRs were lodged in respect of that scandal and the petitioner is in custody since 17.08.2017 in some other case of Srijan Scandal, however, in the present case, the petitioner was remanded to judicial custody on 16.06.2020 only after filing of the supplementary chargesheet by the CBI wherein name of the petitioner also surfaced alongwith some other co-accused.
At the relevant time, petitioner was Assistant Manager in Bank of Baroda and allegation is that in collusion with some other co-accused persons, he was also involved in dwindling

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that several other prime accused have already been allowed bail either by the Hon'ble Supreme Court or by this Court considering the period of their detention and completion of investigation. Co-accused-Pankaj Kumar Jha was allowed bail by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Cr. Appeal No.484 of 2020 arsing out of SLP (Cr.) Nos. 1530 of 2020.
Mr. Bipin Kumar Sinha, learned counsel for the CBI opposed the prayer for bail on merit of the case and has drawn attention of the Court to different paragraphs of the counter affidavit wherein material against the petitioner has been disclosed.
Considering the grant of bail to other co-accused standing on similar footing, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Spl. Case No.13/2020 (RC 15/A/17) arising out of Kotwali Thana (Adampur) Bhagalpur P.S.Case No.508 of 2017 with following conditions:
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5519 of 2021(6) dt.24-07-2021 3/3 (a) Both the bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below.
(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
(c) The petitioner shall not leave the country without permission of the trial Court.
