The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

As per the prosecution case, the allegation is of accused persons having overtaken the informant on motorcycle and of having resorted to indiscriminate firing causing severe firearm injuries on the informant. The name of the petitioner transpired in the confessional statement of co-accused. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 20.12.2021 (Annexure-1) giving liberty to the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47529 of 2022(2) dt.14-09-2022 2/2 petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after six months. The petitioner is in custody since 7.10.2020 and has not been put on T.I. parade. It has been more than six months since passing of the earlier order of rejection.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of the allegation against the petitioner, the petitioner having remained in custody since 7.10.2020, investigation in the case having concluded and liberty granted in the earlier of rejection dated 20.12.2021, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Sessions Trial no. 104 of 2021 (arising out of Bhore P.S. Case no. 51 of 2020) on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge I, Gopalganj.
