Heard both sides.

The petitioners seek their bail in Gopalganj Town P.S.Case No.373 of 2014 registered under Section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegations against the petitioners are that they assaulted the informant with knife causing injuries to him.

No.15823 of 2015 (2) dt.08-06-2015 2/2 It has been submitted that no specific injury has been attributed against the petitioners and only omnibus and general allegations have been made against them. Further, it has been submitted that the petitioners have got no criminal antecedent and that the alleged occurrence was taken place on 10.2.2014 but the FIR was instituted on 24.8.2014. No explanation has been given for 14 days delay in instituting the FIR. It is further submitted that the petitioners are in custody since 16.1.2015 and 21.11.2014 respectively.

On behalf of the State it has been stated that the petitioners are named in the FIR.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S.Case No.373 of 2014.
