2. The petitioners are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 149, 341, 504, 323, 384, 506, 354(b) & 465 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution, the F.I.R. has been lodged against 8 named accused persons alleging that the accused persons reached at the house of the informant and started abusing and assaulting them. On the gun point, they started demanding Rs. 5 lac otherwise, threatened to kill them. It has been alleged that when informant's mother and brother came
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49390 of 2023(2) dt.11-08-2023 2/3 then, they misbehaved and tried to outrage her modesty. Subsequently, they have taken Rs.25,000 and also obtained signature on the blank paper. The reason assigned is land dispute as alleged in the F.I.R..
4. Counsel for the petitioners submits that both the petitioners and the informant's side are resident of the same village. Counsel submits that all the accused persons are the family members against whom with a view to create pressure, the name of the petitioners and other accused persons have been figured in this F.I.R. at the instance of the informant.
5. Counsel further submits that antecedent of the petitioners are clean. He submits that both the petitioners and the informant are well-known to each other and only due to land dispute, the present case has been filed.
6. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
7. In the present facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioners be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 6 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief
