The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of Dowry prohibition Act. Submission is that the parties have settled their dispute before the Mediator. The petitioner has already paid in the bank account of opposite party no. 2 rupees 50,000/- out of total agreed amount of rupees 80,000/-. The entire amount is to be paid within 3 months. The time has not lapsed. Hence, the provisional bail of the petitioner by order dated 01.10.2019 is hereby confirmed.
