2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kusheshwar Asthan P.S. Case No. 179 of 2014 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341/147/148/149/323/ 324/308/379/385/354/504/506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The petitioner is accused of assaulting the victim with Farsa causing grievous injury caused by sharp weapon. The petitioner is in jail since 28.04.2024.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the occurrence has taken place because of a land dispute.

5. Learned counsel for the informant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State have vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the period of custody, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Biraul, Darbhanga/concerned court in connection with Kusheshwar Asthan P.S. Case No. 179/2014.

7. The petitioner is directed to mark his attendance in Kusheshwar Asthan police station on 1st Sunday and 3rd Sunday of every month. Failure to do so, will result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
