The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 448, 354(B), 504, 307, 325, 379, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act. The prosecution case in short is that the accused persons entered into the house of the informant and tried to outrage her modesty.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 7.6.2019. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. There is no allegation of assault alleged against the petitioner. Coaccused Mewalal Rai and Jagdish Rai are alleged to have fired but the same did not hit any one in course of occurrence.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, it is directed that the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-1, Danapur, Patna in connection with Bihta P.S. Case No. 1227 of 2018.
