2. The present application has been preferred for the following relief(s):
(i) for the issuance of a writ/writs, order, or direction in the nature of certiorari, to quash the order dated 20.05.2026 passed
Patna High Court CWJC No.10846 of 2026(2) dt.24-07-2026 2/3 by the Court of Respondent No. 2 (The Commissioner, Munger Division) in Land Acquisition Case No. 91 of 2024.
(ii) For the issuance of a writ/writs, order, or directions in the nature of Mandamus, directing the Respondent authorities to re-determine the compensation amount and provide the exact current market value for the petitioners' ancestral lands located under Plot (Khesra No.) 238, 239, 240 and 241 in Mauza-Budhauli, Sheikhpura, acquired under the project for brodification of N.H. 333A BarbighaSheikhpura, Jamui, Jhajha, Banka-Panjwara Road.
(iii) To verify and declare the specific classification of the subject land, whether commercial, developing or residential, strictly in accordance with the terms and criteria laid down in Notification No. 5201/Ra dated 18.12.2017 issued by the Registration Department, Government of Bihar.
(iv) To provide full and fair compensation due to the petitioners, along with the interest calculated from the year 2022 (when the notice of land acquisition was first issued) until the actual date of payment.
(v) For any other writ/writs,
Patna High Court CWJC No.10846 of 2026(2) dt.24-07-2026 3/3 order/orders, direction/directions as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of this case.
3. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioners submit that against the order dated 20.05.2026 passed by the Arbitrator-cum-Divisional Commissioner, Munger, appropriate petition shall be filed before the competent Civil Court.
4. Learned State Counsel submits that the order is dated 20.05.2026 and it is within the three months period and the petitioner should rush before the Competent Court.
5. The facts have been recorded, granting liberty to the petitioners to approach the Competent Civil Court within the time frame granted under the law, the writ petition is disposed of.
