JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 24-07-2019 The petitioner is aggrieved by determination of amount of compensation, paid to her against acquisition of land appertaining to Khata No. 27, Thana No. 116, Khesra No. 31, 35 and 36, admeasuring 49 decimal. The land has been acquired under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.
According to the petitioner, though the nature of land is residential, treating the same to be agricultural, the amount of compensation has been determined, which is arbitrary. The petitioner is said to have received the amount of compensation. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner states that

In my view, the petitioner has remedy under Section 64 of the Act by making appropriate application before the competent authority.
This application is accordingly disposed of with the only observation that petitioner shall be at liberty to invoke Section 64 of the Act.
