The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sikandara P.S. Case No. 60 of 2014 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302, 307, 364, 201 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 27 of the Arms Act and Sections 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 & 22 of U.A.P. Act.

It has been contended that the petitioner is neither named in the FIR nor any cogent material could be collected against the petitioner in course of investigation. He was remanded to judicial custody on the basis of confessional statement made before the police. Apart from that there is no

Learned counsel for the State has submitted that it has come in course of investigation that the petitioner was found roaming around the place of occurrence immediately before the alleged occurrence took place and he has confessed his complicity in the commission of murder before the investigating officer of the case.

Regard being had to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned District & Sessions Judge, Jamui in connection with S.T. No. 284 of 2014 arising out of Sikandra P.S. Case No. 60 of 2014. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J.) Sanjeet/- U T
