The petitioner seeks regular bail in the present case registered for the offence under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and others are said to have shot at the victim causing grievous injury.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. There is no allegation of firing against the petitioner rather the allegation is general and omnibus in nature. The petitioner has clean antecedent and he is in custody since 17.02.2024.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also period of custody, this bail application is allowed. 7.

Let the petitioner above named, be granted bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Udakishunganj, DistrictMadhepura in connection with Bihariganj P.S. Case No. 19 of 2024, subject to the condition:

(i) The petitioner will mark his attendance at Bihariganj Police Station on the first and third Sunday of each month. Default in appearance at the local Police Station will result into cancellation of his bail bond.
