JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date: 16-05-2017 In rejecting the writ petition filed by the petitioner on account of the fact that within the stipulated period, the petitioner did not seek correction of his caste status as indicated in the original application seeking appointment to the post in question, the learned Writ Court has not committed any error.

The merit of the petitioner is of no consequence, once the petitioner did not make correction of his caste status which was incorrectly indicated in the original application even when the

Once the cut-ofdate is over and the correction was not made by the petitioner, no indulgence on sympathetic consideration can be made in such matters. Accordingly, finding the learned Writ Court not to have committed any error in rejecting the writ petition on such consideration, we dismiss the appeal.
