2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 33, 41, 42, 66A of the Indian Forest Act and Sections 2, 27, 29, 31, 32, 39, 50, 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act.
3. It is alleged that this petitioner cultivated sugarcane, paddy and mustard crop in the forest area.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. As a matter of fact, petitioner was cultivating the land which was purchased by him vide sale deed dated 27.05.2009 and Jamabandi no. 69 has also been created in the name of petitioner. He further submits that at best, it is a case of civil dispute. Petitioner claims

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Forest Case No. 06 of 2020, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
