Petitioner retired from the post of Teacher on 31.12.2016 from Laxmi Narayan Janta High School, Laukaha, Madhubani. He prays for payment of Rs. 7,35,440/- as unutilized leave encashment prepared by the District Education Officer, Madhubani, respondent no. 3 on 09.11.2017 as contained in Annexure-1 but the same has not been yet sanctioned by the competent authority.

Considering the nature of claim made by the petitioner, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to

Patna High Court CWJC No.13963 of 2018(2) dt.13-12-2018 2/2 the respondent no. 4, District Programme Officer (Establishment) Madhubani to take into account the amount sanctioned by the District Education Officer, Madhubani vide Memo No. 2594 dated 09.11.2017 and necessary steps in this regard be taken by the respondent no. 4 and all payments be made to the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
