2. Petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Deepnagar P.S. Case No. 02/2024 registered for the offence punishable under sections 147, 148, 149, 342, 323, 307, 354, 427, 337, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution story, it is alleged that the accused persons came and started abusing and assaulting the informant due to which he sustained grievous injury.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the petitioners are close door neighbour of the informant and due to simple 'marpit', they have been implicated in connection
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.54696 of 2024(3) dt.01-10-2024 2/2 with the present case. There is case and counter case between the parties.
5. Learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioners are named in the First Information Report (FIR). Petitioners along with other accused persons assaulted the informant, as a result of which, he sustained grievous injury. Moreover, petitioner no. 1 has two cases and petitioner no. 2 has eight cases in their belt.
6. Considering the nature of injury as also the fact that the petitioners have criminal antecedent, prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected.
