JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 24-09-2015 Heard both sides The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner, being the brother-in-law (Devar) of the informant, is alleged to have assaulted the informant with Dabiya, a sharp-cut-weapon. The informant got as many as six injuries on different parts of her body. She alleged that her intestine came down on account of the injury inflicted by the petitioner on her abdomen. The doctor found all the six injuries to have been inflicted on vital parts of the body of the informant. Having considered the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in Kasba P.S. Case No. 197 of 2014 corresponding to S.T. No. 128 of 2015. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
